Small Bed By The Side Of A House

This is a small bed on a short side of a house.

This bed was planted three years ago. It was a new construction. I was the landscaper and designer for the owners. The shrubs were three gallon containers. Throughout the property we planted over 75 trees and shrubs.

It was done in the summer. I live in the southeastern part of the United States. It's very hot and especially if you are a landscaper.

There are two delightful moments that stand out with this job.

The day we left - the owners were thrilled with how everything had turned out.

A month ago I went back to the house to see the progress of the plants and talk with the owners.

The shrubs have stayed healthy and grown very well. My clients are still happy too. As a fellow gardener - you know the feeling! Happy Gardening to all of you!
