Anderson Japanese Gardens


Anderson Japanese Gardens in Rockford Illinois is a wonderful example of a very large Japanese garden.  No mincing words here, this is one big garden in this style.  I had the pleasure of seeing this garden, taking pictures and wandering about for several hours of pleasant garden touring.  

And I can recommend you visit if you find yourself in Rockford.  In fact, I'd recommnd you go to Rockford for the pleasure of seeing this garden.

One of the things they did very well in this garden was use water throughout the garden as a connective theme.  No matter where you were in the garden, you were not far from seeing or hearing water.
