Bleeding Hearts

For so long, I wanted a bleeding heart. I planted one and it died about August so I pulled it out of the ground and planted another one the following Spring. This one died about the same time later that Summer. I was so disappointed, so I decided to give it one more try (and read about them too). Little did I know, they were supposed to die off then! Imagine my surprise when my beautiful Bleeding Heart came back the next Spring!!!
