Elegant dahlia

Dahlias are my favorite summer/fall bulb. I particularly like the fact that it will bloom right into fall and frost.. And of course they create more bulbs for subsequent years.

Dahlia's never disappoint, I love the variety of different colors and sizes they come in. It is [sadly] kind of a pain to have to dig up every fall, but I try to look at it as another excuse to dig in the dirt one last time, until next spring!

She's a pretty one!

I wish I was better at retrieving things from the garden in fall....I would be a Dahlia grower if I was.
