Flooding Summer of 2008

I live in southern Wisconsin and was in the area that had high water from the rain in late may and june. I was soo upset to see all of my flowers under 4 feet of water for two months that

I just cried.

There was sooo much clean up after the water that I didn't have time to see what my flowers looked like and if any of them survived until late August.

To my surprise my Hibicus started to come up.

Well they came up and flowered so nicely I was shocked. Also I had a Peony come back to the size of a golf ball. Now it will be a surprise to see what comes back in the spring.
