Fun Veggies, Mittens and Snowballs in Texas in July!

I garden at Our Saviour Community Garden in Dallas, Texas. Every week we harvest vegetables from our "Plot Against Hunger" to be donated to the Southeast Dallas Emergency Food Center. July 3, 2007 the harvested eggplants reminded me of a winter scene! Mittens and snowballs... that is the only way we could have such in Texas in July!

It looks to me more like a boxing glove.. used to "knock out" hunger. Great vegetables from a great garden project!
