White Angel Trumpets

White Angel Trumpets

This year our nation has had some wild weather changes. South Carolina's spring was great and we had lots of rain, then the land dried up and parched our plants. I love the Angel Trumpets and have pink, white and golden yellow. They grew so tall for weeks on end, just stood their ground through the unbearable heat and drank as much of the city water they could stand. They must have reached 6 foot or better. Then it happened, the heat broke. When my beauties got some relief, they went into a blooming frenzy and bloomed until we finally got a frost in November that wilted their tops until they just looked completely frazzled. They were cut down at this point but not until cuttings were taken to propagate their loveliness. I will have lots to share this coming Spring.
