Reviews of Lawn and Gardening Tools

This page contains reviews of lawn and garden tools and I should explain my bias right at the beginning.

I've been gardening for over 30 years in a professional capacity and I like great tools that work.  I like tools that last a long time and can be sharpened and repaired as necessary. I really like great tools and I care for them happily.

I do like well-thought out garden tools that do a great job on the plant or soil for which they were designed.  I'm a big fan of great tools.  Having said that, I do not like cheap tools that break or bend or are hard on my (dare I say it - aging hands and body) :-)

I'm a bit of a curmudgeon when it comes to tools and I'm going to tell you exactly what I think on these pages whether it's good, bad or just plain ugly.   I'm not sponsored by any company to promote their tools and while some of the tools are provided to me for review, I'll be clear when they come for review or when I'm telling you what's in my personal tool box.

"Large vases are sometimes filled with earth and planted with choice flowering plants, and the effect of the blossoms and green leaves growing out of these handsome receptacles, is at least unique and striking, Loudon objects to it in the case of an elegant sculptured vase, "because it is reducing a work of art to the level of a mere garden flower-pot, and dividing the attention between the beauty of the form of the vase and of its sculptured ornaments and that of the plant which it contains.""

Weedlance Tool a poorly thought out tool that shouldn't be bought.
Garant Dandelion Weeder review. Generally, I don't like this kind of weeder and this video shows you why.
