Damselfly
by: Moni

Anonymous beat me to it...it is a damselfly not a dragonfly for the reasons listed. They are quick and hard to photograph. Almost hard to see him with the blue grass nearby.

Dragonfly is a Damselfly
by: Anonymous

This insect is another species that is difficult to photograph because it darts about. Patience was the key here...Congratualtions. Dagonflies and damselflies ,although similar are quite different in appearance. The damselfly has a very long, slender body and, when not flying, usually holds its long stiff wings together with tips touching over its back. The dragonfly usually has a plumper body and when resting, holds its wings straight out from its body like an airplane.
