My New Perennial Garden

We built this garden last year. We had lots of fun searching for the many, many rocks needed to line the pathways. This photo was taken July 16th, 2007. I am please with the garden, but I am still moving plants around to get the look "just right".

I am a number one fan of rocks and pea gravel for pathways through a garden .. you did a smashing job !
The plants compliment the structure very well too. It looks serene and that is a huge bonus to relaxing in our gardens.

The colour combination and the mixture of plants look inviting. Wouldn't mind going for a stroll down the path. And, the rocks, they must have been chosen painstakingly to be quite similar in size!

I can imagine the hours spent in planning and planting the garden, also looking for rocks and placing them along the paths.
