How to Get Free Plants - A Plant Propagation Seminar

So when it comes to plant propagation, there are a ton of questions and things you want to know about easy plant propagation techniques. The good news is that most plants want to grow and make more new plants. That's how they survive. The bad news is that sometimes learning how they want to do this can be tricky. And the frustrating thing is that sometimes the way we want to do it isn't the way the plant wants to do it. :-)

But there's hope. Most garden plants can be propagated relatively easily (yeah, there's a few that are tricky) and most beginnoer or intermediate gardeners can drastically increase the numbers of plants with a little work and a bunch of patience.

So this page is our plant propagation seminar and I hope you find it useful. We'll be covering a range of things from seeding through to taking cuttings - and I trust you'll be able to do most of these things by the time we're finished.

A LOT of Plant Reviews Coming

Friends - in the next week, I'll be adding upwards of 25 new posts about review plants in the garden. So you'll get a lot of email updates about them - my apologies. What I do is post how-to-grow information about each plant - and then as the season and trials get underway, I make ongoing notes about them.

This system also allows you to comment on these plants if you've grown them or are growing them. It becomes a review partnership between us all to get the best sense of these new plants.

And as they bloom and grow, I'll be adding pics to each post.

This is the best way I can devise for getting good info about each plant to you as I see it happening. But it does mean a ton of email over the next week or so as I add them to the garden.
