pond building from jacuzzi

My daughter had a jacuzzi in the back yard and she has wanted to get rid of it for years. So two weeks ago I got out my circular saw and bought a blade that would cut the fiber glass. I got the top off and needed another saw to cut through the side so back to Home Depot and I got a recipical saw and a 7" blade that the sales person would cut through anything.

I had to jack up the jacuzzi with a car jack and put blocks under it until my daughter and I could flip it over. Then I went to work and cut the top off the bottom. I had to have a neighbor help me with one corner.

Now I will have some friends come over tomorrow and dig the hole. I plan on putting large cinder blocks around the bottom and here we have too many roots and stones to dig very deep. Then I plan on putting river stone facing on the cinder blocks and a cap stone on top so we will have a seat to sit on while watching the fish. The seats in the jacuzzi will be a great place to put pots with water plants in.

By the way. I am a 72 year old lady that will be 73 next month. Not bad for an old lady.
If you are interested I'll send pictures when I am done.
