I think Doug lives here with his Princess. Trying planting in those boots once they've seen their day. I put hens & chix in my husband's worn work books and have them sitting on the step entering our home. I also plant in children's shoes...

Joe McQueen lives at this scene, a lover of life and everything green.
Ne'er uttered a word that was vicious or mean,
everything around was meticulously clean.

"Obsessive Compulsive" the neighbors would say,
as Joe cleaned for most of his days...

He toiled for weeks in his large garden plot,
readying it for the veggies he'd just bought.

Poor Joe couldn't help but to be rid of the dirt,
now there was nowhere to plant--and that really hurt!

So, the veggies sit on the porch in a row...
all dressed up with nowhere to go!

Someone who can't find any more room in their garden for the rest of the plants. Is it possible that their eyes were bigger than their patch of land when they were pouring over the brightly colored seed packets in late winter... So, a lot planting has already been done (yes, this person is addicted to planting) and he/she is tired and doesn't exactly know what to do now. So, he/she has called it a night, knowing that they'll all get put somewhere by the weekend (provided it Ever stops raining!!!). Yes, he/she said the same thing last weekend... ;) Oh, and don't forget to hide the unopened seed packets and 5 gallon perennials that are sitting in the back of the car! Someone just might do an intervention...
