With all the rain here in New England my feet are absent yet my heart and soul are constantly in my garden. Although I miss my hands being dirty and not muddy...I view my garden as a work in progress just like ME!!!!!

You are so right about the soul of our gardens!!
As I have viewed in person on thru photos the huge magnificent gardens of the rich...they were lacking something and until you wrote this I would not have known what it was...you're right it is the soul that is missing.
Thank you for putting so simply into words how real gardeners feel :-)
