My husband and I have come to love Cacti for the unusual look and amazing flowers. This is one we've had for a couple of years and this is it's second season blooming.

How can such a beautiful color come from a plant that hardly has any green? Nature's mystery unfolds in a spectacular way with cactus blossoms! A wonderful contrast in smooth/prickly, bright/dull - I'm sure it attracts the attention of bees and birds!

Yes, very beautiful specimen, I loved the angle of the scene. Great picture! Reminds me of the old days, climbing through the barrel cacti (fish hook and candy barrel) Those were the days!.....
