I put in this little patio myself a couple of years ago. It is a pleasant place just to sit and rest. The path runs all around the main garden.

Pavers

Thanks for the information - sounds easy to do, or at least as easy as anything involving a lot of pavers and getting rid of sod!!
laying the pavers

This was not a hard project. I used grass killer in the area. After the grass had died out I raked it and it really was level. I just laid the pavers on top of the ground and then used sand to fill in the cracks. It is what one of my sons calls a 'toe stumper' but it turned out very nice. It needs a new coat of sand but not this year. Too many other projects underway.

What a lovely little area! Is the path all brick? Was it hard to install?
