too few beefsteaks and lots of plum tomatoes
by: kleon24

I planted beefsteaks and plum tomatoes in the same area. The plum tomatoes have done very well. As for the beefsteaks, barely. I used your method. The beefsteaks produced seven tomatoes from six plants. I also planted six others in another area and they produced two tomatoes. I had many small green tomatoes (also beefsteak) which the lady of the house said she'd fry up for me since I love fried green tomatoes.
So, what happened?
