Who am I?

We recently moved into our new place with a garden, this tree has fascinated me whatching it this past month. I don't know what it is, I was thinking a plum tree cause they rule the Lower Mainland BC in the springtime. The trunk had a reddish tinge and I was thinking plum, and was excited. Finally the leaves took hold and I thot no blooms for you, until I started paying attention and bees were all over it. Upon closer inspection the flowers are under the leaves and this is what I found. Would like to know what kind it is, anyone? Thankyou

It looks kind of like my flowering currant.

I'm in the lower mainland of BC too.

Perhaps a witch hazel?

This picture really reminds me of my witch hazel bush. I had two different kinds, the rabbits devoured one a couple of winters ago and only one if left. I don't know the variety name but I'd bet it's one of those!
